Wisconsin Books To Prisoners receives over 2,000 requests for books a year. Each package of books sent to a prisoner costs $3-$4 to mail. Your financial support enables us to connect prisoners with these vital tools for education, self-empowerment, and comfort.
We are run entirely by volunteers — 100% of monetary donations go to postage, rent, printing receipts and mailing labels, and the occasional purchase of collegiate dictionaries (which is the most frequently requested book by prisoners nationwide). The donation you make today will send books directly to someone who is living behind bars.

You can contribute to us through our fiscal sponsor, The Press Connection (PC) Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, or by donating to our account at A Room of One’s Own bookstore. Each option is detailed below.
Your monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Online donations: donations via credit or debit cards are processed securely through PayPal and will appear on your card statement as: “PAYPAL *PC Foundation, CA”.
